    Joyashree Roy

    Joyashree Roy is Bangabandhu Chair Professor at the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand. She is an economist. She was a National Fellow at Indian Council of Social Sciences Research and a Postdoctoral Fellow at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Berkeley, USA. She specialises in energy economics, environmental economics and econometrics. Her works focus on climate change, water pricing, and economy-wide modeling exercises for policy. She pursued her doctoral studies in economics from Jadavpur University, India.
