    Aroma Dutta

    Aroma Dutta is Executive Director of PRIP Trust and a Member of Parliament of Bangladesh. She is a women’s rights activist and a development practitioner. She was Professor of Sociology at the University of Dhaka. She has worked with government and civil society organisations on institutional development and policy advocacy. She was a member of the National Human Rights Commission of Bangladesh. She is also a member of Bangladesh government’s Grihayan Tahabeel, the board of the Social Development Foundation and the National Integrity Strategy of Bangladesh. She has received Bangladesh’s national award for women’s empowerment and development, Rokeya Padak. She pursed her graduate studies at the University of Dhaka.
