We believe everyone deserves access to the greatest minds on Bangladesh

    What are we

WhiteBoard is a quarterly policy magazine created by and for young people. It is the go-to resource for original, high-quality commentary on Bangladesh.

    Who are we

WhiteBoard is the flagship publication of the Centre for Research and Information (CRI). The editorial team comprises economists, analysts, anthropologists, researchers and designers. The Editorial Advisory Board comprises experts in their respective fields.

    Who are we for

WhiteBoard is for students, young professionals, development partners, entrepreneurs, policy-makers and practitioners, in Bangladesh and beyond. It will feature contributions from acclaimed social thinkers, political-economists, business leaders and young innovators.

    What do we do

WhiteBoard promotes evidence-based, incisive discussion, as well as constructive debate. It covers a range of topics including economy, governance, market-insights, gender, development and technology.

    Why do we do it

Bangladesh is growing rapidly and confronting new challenges, with young people at the helm. It is set to be among the world’s top 30 economies by 2030. However, there is a lack of data-driven and coherent analysis on what is happening in the country.

Meanwhile, the world is changing fast. In the era of big data, with the Fourth Industrial Revolution interacting with global development needs, it is crucial to understand what role we can play. In this context, WhiteBoard commentaries unite innovation with reflection, and historical context with future possibilities.
